Chairperson: Ash Moss
Vice Chairperson: Amy Le
Treasurer: Tom Vlahous

General Member: (vacant)

We welcome our new committee and look forward to a prosperous 2021/22 with growth in the club and new direction. We wish to thank our outgoing committee members Scott Warren (Chairperson), Kyle Blakely (Treasurer) and Chris Round (Secretary) for their efforts during a difficult 2020.

COVID-19

Well, it’s been a bit quiet lately, with social distancing and lockdown laws in place, car meets and events have been postponed until further notice. Our committee is working in the background to plan social and technical events as soon as life gets back to normal. Until then, we hope you are all staying safe, and enjoying your car in isolation.

See you soon!

2019 Spring Cruise

On Sunday the 29th of September 2019 we had a great turn out for the Spring Cruise. Over 40 cars arrived for a fantastic day of driving, heading from Midland to Mundaring, through to Roleystone and down to Serpentine Dam. The weather was perfect for a nice spirited drive through the hills and a couple of stops to admire each other’s vehicles.
It was great to see a lot of new faces, and new modifications to members cars. Below is a small selection of photos from the day.

CAMS Come and Try Day at Barbagallo Raceway

Wednesday 11th of September 2019 was another CAMS event held at Wanneroo, the popular Come & Try day. A few members took advantage of a cheap entry level racing opportunity, where drivers with no experience can take their vehicle on track with the help of instructors and in small groups. Included in the event fee is a single day CAMS license, and limited numbers means a lot of runs throughout the day. If you are interested in trying out a race track, keep an eye out for the next CAMS event!

Collie Track Day

Early August of 2019 saw an invasion of Collie by a large group of the 86/BRZ club members, enjoying a great day at the CAMS Come and Try event. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in motorsport but not wanting to compete, just try their car on track with the help of instructors.
The group made their way from Perth down to the track, and joined a large number of other racing enthusiasts for a blast on the track. Check out the photos!
