2017 Winter Cruise

Despite the trend of bad weather, the rain held off to create the perfect conditions for a cruise through the Hills.

Arriving at the starting point at the Armadale Courthouse, was like walking into a candy store packed full of a variety of 86’s and BRZ’s. Great conversation was exchanged as everyone shared their tips and tricks about their latest modification, what they enjoyed most about the car and complimented others on how great their cars looked.

There was also a bit of buzz about the Come and Try event that is scheduled to take place at the Collie Motorplex in August 2017 – in which about 12 people will be participating with their 86’s and BRZ’s for the first time.

Now back to the Club Car Cruise – the field of about 15 cars was led by Cameron Stubber with a rendezvous meeting place at Serpentine Dam where another ½ dozen cars joined us. Once again it was a great opportunity to share a few laughs and stories whilst we checked out what people had under their bonnets.

It was also great to see the amount of interest that people had in “drones” with people showing off their piloting skills – all in accordance to CASA requirements and guidelines – of course.

Departing Serpentine Dam, we snaked our way through the back roads back to our finishing location at Gateway Shopping Centre at Cockburn Central.

In summary – a great day out with good cars, good laughs and great people.

Looking forward to the next one.
